The Director of Warehouse Operations oversees the Distribution Center, Logistics, and Purchasing departments.
This role is vital to the company's success and requires someone with extensive leadership skills that is both innovative and a proven driver of organizational change.

Duties and
Responsibilities:
Directs and oversees all functions of the distribution center for the primary goal to fulfill e-commerce and wholesale customer orders.
Directs and oversees in-bound and out-bound logistics.
Directs and oversees the product procurement team.
Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of the organization's mission - specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business processes and organizational planning standards by which the company's efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated.
Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
Oversee overall financial management, planning, systems and controls for operations.
Supervise and coach department managers to ensure departmental goals are achieved while maintaining top performance and controlling costs.
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates work processes and standards to ensure success and adjust as necessary.
Review safety policies and make certain they are followed.
Accountable for operational best practices in compliance with state and federal law.
Oversee training best practices and ensure they provide employees opportunity for success.
Ensure customer satisfaction with both products and service.
Review equipment needs and provide a reasonable ROI for all acquisitions.
Drive management and organizational team initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence.
Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team.
Create a team culture built on service excellence, professional, teamwork, and an environment to have fun, learn and succeed.
Liaise with superior to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals.
Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resource allocation.
Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors.
Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations.
Proven experience as Director of Warehouse Operations or equivalent position.
Proven international and domestic logistic experience.
Possess a thorough understanding of best practices, theories and policies involved in business and finance.
Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook, and access.
Adept at collaborating with leadership to build an environment of safety, collective responsibility, and accountability.
Exceptional verbal and written communication.
Ability to use these skills to address all levels within the organization to debate and explain issues of importance.
Strong managerial and diplomacy skills.
Ability to look at situations from several points of view and hold teams accountable.
Effectively delegate responsibilities.
Driver of organizational change; must have experience in streamlining and implementing new structures, processes and roles that create speed, efficiency and support rapidly shifting business demands.
High comfort level working with a diverse and muti-generational team.
