Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED; ability to understand work orders and instructions DUTIES & JOB
Responsibilities:
Know or be able to learn USPS mail distribution operations.
Know or be able to learn how to operate mail sorting and postage equipment.
Retrieve incoming mail from Orange County sites.
Sort incoming, outgoing, and in-house mail for delivery.
Monitor postage meter and order more when necessary.
Pick-up and deliver mail to Orange County mail drops each day in all buildings.
Interact with customer office contacts and demonstrate strong customer service Deliver special mail as needed.
Process air express mail as needed.
Provide messenger services as requested.
Process Federal Express packages as required.
Assure safety practices are followed Ability to load and unload delivery products and packages Maintain a clean and safe work environment Problem solve delivery issues All other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 40 lbs Able to push carts with up to 100 lbs of parcels Able to work standing or sitting for up to 8 hours Able to travel in office and outdoor settings in all weather conditions 8IBzmfSWdi.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
